The materials for IMAGES (Improving Measurement and Geometry in the Elementary School) were designed under the leadership of Janie Zimmer and Linda Benedetto and members of the Pennsylvania State Team of the Mid-Atlantic Eisenhower Consortium at Research for Better Schools (RBS). Special appreciation is extended to the many dedicated persons who contributed their expertise, time, energy, and creativity. We are particularly indebted to Dennis Ebersole, Arlene Dowshen, and Michael Speziale, who showed such leadership throughout the project and were so generous in bringing their considerable knowledge to bear in developing content and in guiding the materials through the final stages of editing.
