BUSING SCHEDULE

2004-2005

            Dr. Gilbert Griffiths, Superintendent of the Dallas School District, announces the following bus schedules for the first day of school, Tuesday, August 31, 2004.

            Due to the volume of calls received this time of year, parents are requested not to call the school district for bus times and locations.  Please check the following information.

            Gate of Heaven runs will be done first, followed by Dallas Secondary buses.  Bishop Hoban High School and Wyoming Seminary Upper School students will be given the choice of riding a Gate of Heaven bus and transferring to the Hoban/Sem shuttle bus at Gate of Heaven or meeting the shuttle bus at the Gate of Heaven parking lot before 7:20 am.   There will be no stop locations from Gate of Heaven to Seminary/Hoban.

Most routes will remain the same as last year.  Unless a student is going home to a different location, the AM and PM bus numbers usually will be the same.

            Some Elementary students may have to shuttle to their schools.  Check the final destination from the following routes.

These bus lists will be in effect for the first week of school.  Changes will be made where necessary in both times and locations as the school year progresses.  Please note that all times are approximate.

            The Kindergarten students are reminded of their participation in the school entry program.  Their schedule will be given to them by their teachers at the screening conference prior to the opening of school.  Mid-day bus numbers will be different.

            The district announces that no unauthorized entry on a school bus will be allowed.   Pennsylvania Title 18, Crimes and Offenses, states "...any person who enters a school bus without prior authorization of the driver...commits a misdemeanor of the third degree."
